 BIG-STEP Workshop

'Business, Industry and Government - Science and New Technologies for Enhancing Policy' (BIG STEP) was a workshop held in Brussels on 14-15 April 2010. Hosted at the prestigious Académie Royale des Sciences, des lettres et des Beaux-Arts de Belgique, the workshop was organised by Complexity-NET in association with the EU-funded Global Systems Dynamics (GSD) and Action for the Science of Complex Systems and Socially Intelligent ICT (ASSYST) programmes. Considering the themes of Energy and the Environment and Risk and the Economy, a distinguished group of scientists, policy makers and industrial luminaries were brought together to discuss how complexity science and systems thinking can inform decision-making and policy setting in a variety of contexts.

A full report of the workshop will be made available in due course.
